1. About us

This website and our online stores are operated by Faux Flowers Melbourne ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using our website, Instagram shop, or eBay store, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Our products

We design and sell handmade artificial (faux) flower arrangements, bouquets, and keepsake boxes. Because every piece is handcrafted:

  • Products are made from high-quality artificial materials and are not fresh flowers.

  • Slight variation in colour, size, and arrangement is natural and expected, and each finished piece may differ subtly from photographs on our website or social media.

  • Screen and lighting differences mean on-screen colours may vary slightly from the product received.

3. Orders and pricing

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable [

  • Placing an order is an offer to purchase your order is confirmed once we accept it and payment is received.

  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred). If we cancel a paid order, you'll receive a full refund.

  • Payment is processed securely through [your payment provider, e.g. Stripe / PayPal / Square / eBay checkout]. We do not store your full card details.

4. Custom orders

  • Custom arrangements are made to your chosen colours, size, and style.

  • Custom orders may require a [deposit / full payment] before work begins.

  • As custom pieces are made specifically for you, they cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind (this does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — see Section 7).

5. Delivery

  • We deliver Monday to Saturday across Melbourne.

  • Free delivery is available across most Melbourne suburbs. If your location does not qualify for free delivery, a delivery fee will apply. You will be advised of any delivery costs before checkout.

    Alternatively, free pickup is available from our Melbourne warehouse.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays outside our control.

  • Please ensure the delivery address and contact details you provide are accurate. Re-delivery due to incorrect details may incur an additional fee.

6. Warehouse pickup

  • Pickup is available from our warehouse in Sunshine, Victoria, by appointment only, Monday to Saturday, 10am–5pm.

  • Once your order is placed and ready, we'll provide the pickup address and arrange an appointment time with you.

7. Returns and refunds

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product has a major problem — for example, it is faulty, significantly different from its description, or not fit for its stated purpose — you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss.

  • Faulty or incorrect items: contact us within 5 days of receiving your order at fauxflowersmelbourne@gmail.com with photos, and we'll make it right.

  • Change of mind: as our pieces are handmade and often made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, except where required by law.

  • Custom orders: are final and non-refundable for change of mind (subject to your ACL rights above).

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Intellectual property

All content on our website and social media — including photographs, designs, logos, product names, and text — is owned by Faux Flowers Melbourne and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer guarantees in Section 7, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the relevant product.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website, and changes take effect once posted.
